This is incredibly concerning and definitely needs to be highlighted in the public arena. We, the public, need to hold Luxon, Willis and Reti accountable.
Thank you for writing about this. The lies and obfuscation as they mess with people lives on both sides of the health sector is so concerning. My partner tried to raise this as an issue a while back with some people who handed him a Herald article refuting it said “it’s just another of your lefty conspiracy theories, there are no hiring freezes etc…” . Very frustrating when we live in times of deliberate misinformation and ‘belief’ not facts.

We can certainly try, but will they listen? They seem so set on imposing their agenda on the health system I'd be surprised if they do, unfortunately.
