Does Covid melt your brain? No. It just damages it somewhat.
This week marked the release of the biggest UK study on the impact of Covid on the brain. It showed that for those hospitalised with Covid, there were MRI findings of brain atrophy (shrinkage) and raised inflammatory markers that persisted 12-18 months after discharge home.
